Are you talking about a lenses filter? Thats the only filter I know about. If not where is the other filter?

Are buying a 3 or 4?? I have a P3P. Don't know about the IPad mini 2 but my IPad mini 4 works great every time. Maybe at the Apple Store they will let you try different mini's to see which you like the best.
