Need some advice on power! Need to solar charge my drone (P4) on my Iceland trip (and other devices). Thinking of buying the Sherpa 100 by GoalZero. I have a budget of $600. Any suggestions of anything better?
Thanks Mike, if they do it properly I think that is a good idea. By properly I mean following FAA guidelines. The FAA doesn't want a patchwork law where every local municipality has their own law on drones. https://www.faa.gov/uas/resources/uas_regulations_policy/media/uas_fact_sheet_final.pdf
Just wonder what people thought of Kittyhawk's new flight deck for real-time drone operations that they just launched.
Has anyone used Kittyhawk before?
It really all depends on if they can get investors. But if they can prove it is more cost effective than I think they can get people on board. Its ideas like this that make drones so interesting to me. They are shacking established industries up!
If you are looking for another place to list your services as a drone pilot, check out Up Sonder. Not only is it a source of drone jobs, but we are a way for drone pilots to hire each other’s services and rent equipment from each other when traveling on location for larger jobs.
The Up Sonder...
Ya, exactly I was thinking of one of those big drones...find a way to rig up sprayers that will work and be able to keep close range, then maybe its possible???
Hmm...just thinking. If the drone was bigger with the ability to carry more paint, then maybe it could be used to paint larger houses and other buildings???
@NJ_DroneGuy Glad you are not having any problems. If you do let us know. I am actually very curious how these local drone laws in New Jersey will be enforced...if at all. Do you think they aimed these laws at anyone in particular...like say drone pilots that take picture and video for real estate?
