Yep. I like the magazine and there is an article on drones from time to time. They are grasping for youthful additions it seems... GA is hurting and aging so anything to up the membership.

Dug around a bit. Turns out the operator was the CA Dept of Water Resources. Good thing they didn't use it for inspection prior to the flood... Might have saved some hassle... o_O

Interested to hear any experience with PING stuff or LATAS for that matter. ADS-B sooner or later?

PING LATAS It's already here. Anybody that's flown with it will tell you it creates a big boost to SA for those that tune in. SWAP is pretty darn good with the PING stuff. Relatively cheap also depending on what you want to do.
