    What have you heard regarding "degaussing" the compass. I have read on other forums that this could be an option. I have a 3 lb and a 6.5 lb magnet ready to degauss. I would like to know a little more before I do. Thanks.

    I have seen to numbers get chopped off on a different computer. I am very confident that its not the interface cutting off the first character. I am beginning to believe the compass is bad.
