I only see a transistor(I think) around there. There is a similar looking element near the "can" plug though.

I just got my gimbal shipped. I knew about the problems with jack, but thanks for the tip anyway ; ). Gonna try to assemble it today and report back to you guys. I am worried about the channel 7 though, cause the board is different then the other gimbals from goodluckbuy I'v seen tutorials on.

I guess the smiplest way to fake that, would be just following the phantom, as it is showing the distance from the home point.
