My flight log yesterday showed 130 degrees Fahrenheit when it landed. Didn't see any warnings, but it made me concerned. Temps were around 90 degrees and humid.
I had an experience like that, made a thread about it too. First flight out also. This guy grabbed the ac after landing and his wife was berating me for a good 5 minutes in my face before that.
As others have mentioned in this situation. You'll lose sharpness with a longer exposure due to the drone moving. I've heard people say that it's better to boost ISO and almost over expose the image for less noise, then reduce the exposure in post. Ideally you want the lowest ISO possible...
Just updated my 3 batteries to the latest firmware today. 2 of them have been sitting for nearly 10 days and I'm expecting the auto-discharge to commence any day now.
My question is, what resets the discharge timeframe? I updated the 2 batteries today with the firmware by just powering on the...
Get the video off the SD card on the bird. Other than that, youtube does show lower resolutions for your video before it's completely processed. For instance, I can shoot a 1080p movie, upload to youtube and immediately viewing the video will only show as 360p. After about a half hour it may...
Like I said, the GPS coordinates compared to the map don't show it going to the trees but right to the rocks. So you got that going for you. The only other thing I can think of is if you do hit the throttle between that 20m threshold that it screws up the altimeter readings in the software...
Ya, whatever your throttle stick is hold it down once on the ground. I personally like the auto land feature. Seems softer than manually doing it. I notice when manually landing that the drone likes to get close to the ground and then go up a little bit. Can mess with the nerves.
That's what I saw too, the only strange thing standing out is the aerial map view not showing it going near the tree, but directly above the rock. I wonder how accurate the map is with the GPS coordinates compared to what the GPS is reporting in the bird. The trees look to be right around that...
It's never the result we want, but that's why I try to gain as much knowledge from these forums as possible. I'd probably do the same thing out on the boat if I didn't hear others' experiences. You could change the RTH point during the flight, but still, it wouldn't stay with the boat because...
There's nothing to fight. When RTH is activated at the battery level you set it to, there is a beeping I believe to warn you. Additionally, the app will tell you it's engaged. You can cancel the RTH by using the screen or the Tx. People always talk about disabling RTH when on boats. This...
Thank you. In this case it appears to be user error. Which makes sense since the drone is flying back to where it started. Operator tried lowering altitude in panic. This is normal.
Gotcha. I looked at the log here Phantom Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com but don't see a throttle input column. Am I missing a different area of the log? This is more for me personally so I can be more informed when viewing my logs and others.
