    Dronexpert gimbal for Phantom Vision

Re: New video Dronexpert gimbal for Phantom Vision Alas I am at the point of wanting to move on from the Vision. It's been a good learning experience but the lack of a gimbal for it makes decent video work very difficult in any amount of wind. And the cost of the gimbals that aren't even...

phantom2 Vision brushless gimbal, tilt function

**** I was really excited until I saw it was DroneExpert, so guessing the price is the same as the first draft. That means not affordable :(

    Gimbal on the Vision?

Sooooo want a gimbal now, after many flights in it's the thing that ever so slightly bugs me. The Droneexpert gimbal looks great but wow over $700 shipped to Australia nooooooooooooooooooo way!

    Flytrex altitude is way off

Looking at all the public flights on the Flytrex site the start altitude is obviously ASL. Not a problem I guess.

    Flytrex altitude is way off

Hi all, I read in the other topic regarding the Flytrex that it uses its own barometric altimeter and this is more accurate than using GPS. I got mine installed today and did a very quick 3 minute flight to make sure it's working. The weather conditions are far from ideal being very windy so I...

How to open the Phantom 2 Vision for new owners

I got my Flytrex yesterday and two of the body screws just would not come out. A night of absolute frustration. Today though I discovered I could do what needed to be done without completely removing the top, so problem solved and it's now installed.

    Getting very low range...

Also keep in mind your environment, you mention you are in a city. There may be a lot of competing radio transmissions, structures blocking the transmissions, could be a lot of factors. The best way to know if you have a problem with your Phantom is to go out to an open area and try flying there.

    Flytrex and PV

That was a concern of mine, not that I fly over the 400' height restriction here or within 5.5km of an airport, but I still don't want big brother snooping in what I do. The good part is you can keep the record private and not published on their website.

    Flytrex and PV

I ordered a Flytrex yesterday and have it in my hands now. Looking forward to getting home from work to install it.

    Four flights down

I'm blessed to work in a beautiful location and took the PV out during my lunch break. Thought I'd share a photo with you all. I did record video but the winds are blowing pretty hard with stronger gusts so as I panned the PV angles into the wind to maintain position.

Arrested for flying PV in a deserted park?

That sounds utterly ridiculous and a case of those workers having no clue. I would however suggest you contact your county office (if there is such a thing) or whoever manages the ordinances there and ask to speak to someone who can advise you of any restrictions.

    Controller/Vision stickers

Love them just how they are, I'd be happy to pay for some :)

    PV Cases...

I picked up my case from Supercheap Auto and it's perfect! So lucky there was a cheaper alternative. Not the best job on plucking the foam but it fits snug and safe so that's all that matters.
