    P3P Cracks

This a longtime known issue with DJI Phantoms. Something about the torque applied at the factory. Some get it, some don't. I'd suggest finding more about it on the forum from other folks who've experienced the same, then contacting DJI for a comp. repair/replacement of the shell.

    First real estate video

Good start. I'd consider using a few dissolves between the room stills to ease the flow a bit. Also, (...and this can sometime be very subjective) The music IMPO is a little over the top. Music should set the tone, then almost disappear. Of course it never does, but if the choice is subtle, you...

is a 24 mph wind too much for a ph3 Standard?

...what he said. If you haven't secured your Part 107 certification yet, now might be a good time. Among other things, you'll learn that winds aloft are always faster and many other wind related issues. In general, 25ks is too fast unless you're flying a hexacopter (6-blades) with lots of heavy...

    FAA Contacted Me

Agreeing with previous posts....this is HORRIBLE advice. The big note here is that beyond the trouble you've caused yourself, flying without authorization 2-miles from class B airspace has the potential of running into a commercial flight on final, or departure filled with dozens of travelers...

Why can’t I fly around this?

The New York Times reports; "...Rick Cuppetilli, executive vice president of Adamo, told The Free Press that about 10 percent of the explosives had failed to detonate because of faulty wiring. Those charges, installed in eight locations, were supposed to demolish the steel columns supporting the...

Why can’t I fly around this?

The subject for this thread seems to imply that you're searching for justification for conducting a flight you know is risky. I'd suggest checking your ADM with specific emphasis on anticipated helicopter traffic. I'll be back Sunday afternoon...

    Has anyone used Drone Base?

Ditto...there's about one or two other operators that I compete with in my area, but if I stay up on my alerts I generally beat them out. Also, some client missions tend to show up at certain times. (...end of the week, end of the day PST) On the other hand, I've seen a lot of these $70...

    Dronebase services for Allstate

Agreed...if you haven't, you might get a look at all the conditions tied to the job. The site survey alone for the very specific shot list would take an hour or so to map out. Just not worth it for the pay offered.

    Dronebase services for Allstate

Has anyone done one of these mission? How'd it work out? 60-70 specific stills with a lot of conditions apparently dictated by Allstate. Feels like a lot for $70.
