This ain't my first rodeo. I crashed one of my Mavics and had to do some gimbal repair for it.
This whole thing sucks more because I partially backed over my P4P with my truck. It damaged the body and broke the gimbal yaw arm and ripped a few ribbon cables. I finally got the camera and gimbal...
I had to replace the body of my P4P and I am getting ESC errors on all 4 motors.
When I was putting it together I forgot to put the bottom shell back on before screwingnin the motors. I read somone else did this and it damaged the motors because the screws hit the copper coils. I also soldered...
I decided to go with silicone and added an extra glue point so the wires are glued in 4 spots before the solder points. I feel it should be sufficient.
I recently replaced the body of my P4P after partially backing over it with my truck. The process was a bit of a hassle as many of the screws ended up stripping. I neglected to do anything about the glue that was holding the motor wires to parts of the body. I got everything back together but...
I got my whole setup around December. Not sure the exact amount of discharges, but hooking them up to my computer didn't show all that many. I have 3 batteries, would have been nice to know if it was the same one both times, oh well.
I do have it on there, I will try that today or tomorrow. Does the battery being on its way out or the fact of it not being on the charger for a few days prior make more sense for this to occur?
Hopefully you guys can help steer me in the right direction. 2 times now, my Phantom 2 has been in the air, plenty of satellites connected and home lock was fine, all of the sudden it starts losing altitude fast even though I am pressing the controller full throttle up.
I have a Phantom 2...
Got the new remote last night, tested it this morning and all is well. Took it up to 100 meters and not Failsafe triggering. So glad it wasn't something more than that and now I have better gimbal control. :D
Height is set to 1312 ft and Radius is 5249 ft When did you previously ask, this is your first post on this topic?
Yes I have done advanced IMU calibration.
At this point I am 98% certain I managed to screw up the antenna in the remote. I ordered a new one that should be here on...
I disconnected the antenna in the remote completely and tested flying it today and the same exact results happened, no worse, no better. Although this doesn't tell me for sure that the remote's antenna is the cause, but it seems likely. I haven't been able to find anyone local that is around to...
