    Good techniques to learn

What you are doing is the right thing. Keep up flying patterns while keeping your orientation and flight level until you feel confident. I'm quite certain you are ready to exit beginner mode after 20 flights.Just thrust the bird and train flying FPV at higher altitudes and longer range for each...

Thanks. Well, Had the P3a prior to the P4. It's a great drone and you should have no trouble flyging night time. You will always have auto land and RTH to assist you in landing if needed. But ofcourse, if you only have flown 1.5 hours i understand your concern. Just take your time and learn to...

In most cases you will be fine, despite low light conditions. What bird are you flying?

    Hometown

Nightshot from above my neighborhood taken on 2nd Christmas day. It's located in the outskirts of a small city in the north of Norway. Be happy to see more pictures here from where People live :)

Can P4 return to a spot other than home?

Why would the P4 crash into the trees? I would assume the obstacle avoidance would prevent that upon RTH as long as you run in P mode and daylight conditions. Anyway, sounds like you have a predefined flight plan in witch case Litchi is your best friend :)

    tablet advise please

Unfortunately, Android can be quite unstable running Dji GO in my experience. As much as i love Android and my LG G5, i always fly using the iPad Air 2. Never had a single crash or any issues what so ever with IOS running GO.

    'vision system error'

I have seen this a couple of times, but it always goes away by restarting the drone.

Can I fly Phantom 4 in Cold winter weather?

I found that the P4 captures the northern light quite beautifully on standard camera settings (just go as high as you dare :) but there are probably some experts here that can give you some pointers that I can´t. Regarding active track vs follow me mode, i have for the most part been using the...

    P4Pro or wait for P5?

The Inspire is a "looker" for sure. But with the release of the P4P i think the Inspire 1 (with the standard camera) falls short of just about everyting. Maybe a bit more stable in high winds due to its weight, but asides from that, the P4P seems better in most cases.

Problems flying p4 in winter conditions

Yes, during winter it gets pretty cold here in the north of Norway. I flew in -9 celsius a couple of weeks back. Batteries lasted i little shorter, other than that it worked like a charm.

How do I know when the P4 is about to go out of range

In my opinion, the signal bars gives little information about signal strength, as they tend to go from full to 0 just like that. The best indicator in my experience, is the quality of the video feed. When it starts to pixelate / break up, that will be your first warning, in witch case i usually...

Problems flying p4 in winter conditions

Yet you can go way below that without having any problems. Still, minor issues like gimbal problems may occur now and then.

    P4Pro or wait for P5?

The P4 is a great drone, and the P4P seems to be close to perfection. If i were you, i´d go with that. There will always be a new model of "everyting" around the corner these days. When the P5 comes, would it be wise to wait for the P5P and so on...

Can I fly Phantom 4 in Cold winter weather?

Like IBV mentioned here, its more about a permission from the transport authority. Whether the registration with the FAA in the States will count or not, i´m not sure. Now, the reason for the prohibition has nothing to do with safety or anything like that, its all about privacy, so its the...
