My FC 40 has flown away, and the chances of retrieval are slim to nothing. I was thinking of the Phantom 2, but on DJI's web-site, it states their is no app. If I were to outfit it with a GoPro 3, would I need that app? Thank you

I have looked high and low for replacement vibration dampers, and have come up empty handed. Can the original DJI dampers be purchased for the FC 40, or, what do folks do if all 6 are gone. Thank you?
