My older DJI batteries work fine. But the last two DJI batteries I bought on Amazon will not engage the motors. I suspect this is a firmware issue but I like the version of firmware I am running now and don't want to change. Help?

Yes I had DJI replace my P2 and Zenmuse but NOT the Gopro3+. The told me the same thing. I was happy to get what I could from them and then bought a used Hero 3+ on EBAY and feel whole again.

The first video something bad happens. If you own the Phantom plunging into the surf at :56 ... It's bad. But it's his own fault for not coning in sooner.

So many Phantoms were out at Newport Beach Wedge this week to catch the big surf Notice one guy is smart and brings his Phantom back over sand, while the other pilot leaves his out there with a low flying large helicopter. Live and learn. Look at the face of the wave at :56 seconds LOL...

Those bent arms mean something happened with enough force to tweak the vertical gimbal. Right now, it thinks it is level but the only way to fix it is GENTLY bend the vertical structure back in line. It's a two person job and I paid somebody to do it for me, I would suggest doing more digging...

Did you recently have a crash where the gimbal could have taken some stress? This happened to me and was the result of a crash.; I had to have it bent back by some guys who knew what they were doing from other repair jobs of the same time. If you did not have a crash then disregard.

Did you upgrade firmware above 3.2 and more important, are you near an airport. I have the same thing as I live near a large military base.

Just be patient and wait for GPS lock before taking off. Fly in GPS mode. That was mostly an early firmware version issue. 3.04 is a good firmware so far.

The landing gear is very narrow and will often tip over after touch down. I never really land it anymore, I just hover it above my head and grab it with one hand and shutdown with the other hand holding the TX against my body.

Did you have a crash? Reason I ask is because I did and it bent the vertical piece. I sent it to the local shot and the guys had seen this many times and bent it back (ever so gently) for me and now it's level again. They said there is no firmware adjustment for the horizon.

On 1.08 now and have changed the battery values from 30% to 25%. I still cannot get the red warning lights to come on so I have to monitor the battery LEDs in green. Land at 1 solid green. One of these days I'll figure out why this is. Did advanced IMU calibrations too on 1.08 and 3.04

Downloaded the P2 Assistant 2.0 and it seems I cannot get a pathway to 2.0. Wondering if you have to go back to 3.04 then directly to 2.0 avoiding 1.8. Anyone?
