Yes, it was set to 0 to -90, and I've calibrated X1.
I've done some more digging (including with an oscilloscope), and here are the problems:
1) Naza's "servo travel limit" creates dead zones rather than scaling to the full range of the controller. So I need to keep F2's limits at the maximums...
To clarify, I would like the gimbal to range from 0 to -90 degrees.
After some more investigation, I think part of the problem is there's a little bit of play in the lever, but I'm also unable to get the full range of the level mapped to 0 to -90 degrees using any combination of Tarot and Naza...
I've installed a Tarot T-2D gimbal on my Phantom 1.1.1, and it's great, but I'm still not happy with a few aspects of using it for videography, in particular the Phantom's yaw control sensitivity, and the gimbal tilt control.
I have the Tarot's tilt control hooked up to Naza's F2 port, and...
Ok, I disassembled the Naza, thoroughly wiped it down, and it appears to be back to normal. I guess some Corrosion-X formed a seal in the Naza case or something. I'm surprised there's no vent holes or anything.
Glad I didn't need to buy another $260 Naza. Of course since everything except the...
I've seen a number of techniques. This sounds similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAfEh8VeluY
My favorite (pros: easy to add/remove, wide floats = stable, cons: in view of GoPro, affected by wind): http://phantompilots.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2745

Uh oh. I went ahead and submersed everything except the Naza in Corrosion-X, at least I thought I avoided the Naza but some might have gotten on it. Now the Phantom doesn't maintain altitude very well :(
I've only tried ATTI mode since I'm indoors, but sometimes it hovers for awhile then...
I really like this prop protector/backpack carrier: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/63 ... h?ref=live
I got one from the guy on eBay. It looks like the Kickstarter won't succeed but he's shipping now on eBay.
I've read a bit about waterproofing RC vehicles with Corrosion-X. I don't intend to land in water, but just in case, I'd like to waterproof my Phantom as much as possible.
People on other forums have said you can literally submerse almost every component (motors, ESCs, radio, etc) into...
