    Best fpv goggles??

Glyph doesn't use Bluetooth for anything other than firmware updates so far, which is done via the Avegant app which will sync itself.

    FPV Phantom 4

If budget is your main issue and you want to try out, rather than dive into, fpv then a iPhone in a BlitzWolf enclosure is only about 30$ if you have the phone. You can use DroneVR app to display your fpv view on the phone, and it's free for the first couple of short test flights and only 10$ to...

New DJI Googles Most Advanced So Far?

A 'version' of DJI Go 4 runs on the goggles with the touch pad on the right side used as the control interface. Whilst not quite as simple to use as a full HD tablets touch screen it does have a lot of controls and multi-touch ways to do almost all you could do on a tablet/phone and things like...

It's time to be brave ...!!

I suspect, but am not sure, that this change/update is due to FAA pressure in the USA and has little or no effect in Europe other than to get us to enter our passwords again. I don't know if it is true or not but I have seen reports that the drone will not fly properly unless the app has...

It's time to be brave ...!!

Maybe 'requirements' vary depending on if you are in USA or EU ? I am in EU and only got asked to reconfirmed my password, then back to normal.

No tablet/phone needed when using DJI Goggles?

There is no technical requirement for the tablet when using the goggles. It would however be easier (imo) to use the tablet for certain things, such as take off and landing for example. The tablet also offers certain diagnostic and data recording features which I don't believe the goggles allow...

    Avegent Glyph user experiance

Totally agree, one of the most important features of the Glyph is the real world awareness. Hope you enjoy them, let us know what you think.

    Insurance

Anyone one know of a French or European company that does insurance for damage or written off drone for this sort of money. I have liability cover as part of my house insurance but would love separate cover for the drone itself.

    Avegent Glyph user experiance

So, here it is. I said once I had used the Glyph for a while I would let you know what I thought of it. The product is probably the best looking 'goggle' there is, or at least the one that will make you look the least 'dorky' whilst wearing it. Most people have said you will get the product...

    DJI Prop guards compatibility

I have seen that DJI sells two types of prop guards themselves. Both appear to be quick fit and release, one seems to say it's for Phantom 4 and the other for the 4 Pro. Assuming I have understood the item descriptions correctly, the P4 ones disable obstacle avoidance but the P4P ones don't and...

    Checking props?

Set of blades 15$, dead phantom due to a crash 1500$. Could be a micro fracture in just one of those blades and it takes 20 flights to fail, but when it does the drone will dead drop to the ground.

Advegant Glyph - Now at Best Buy ???

You need the Glyph HDMI cord from the transmitter to the goggle for the video link, you can add the USB cord for head tracking but recent reports are saying head tracking is currently disabled (by DJI) on Glyph. The Glyph cord has a full sized HDMI end for devices and so needs an adaptor to get...
