I separated the top and bottom then used spray electronics cleaner to flush out the gunk followed by canned air. I also sprayed wd-40 through each motor which is basically for water displacement. I'm still amazed the battery didn't self-destruct.
Mine landed in about 5 feet of murky water...took me a bit to fish it out, was still trying to run. After cleaning and drying, one motor only quivers. Think perhaps the little driver board is toast...anybody have one to spare?
