My bird has similar gaps and its flying without any issue. In start i was also very much concerned about these. But I read on dji forum or on this that it's normal. Sorry I don't remember exact reference.

If you are talking about a slight gap then yes.

A workaround for guys those failed to upgrade and bird kept on beeping. I had same issue after a failed try of firmware uprade. Left alone my bird about an hour or more but no success. Then I tried to downgrade firmware through go app to 1.3.X(from available list) and it worked. Now it fly...

sorry one more thing. my bird had a minor crack beneath right back motor in result of the crash. It seems okay mean no showstopper at the moment as I flew it later without any issue. Just need your expert opinion and any remedy for it.
