"no signal" after crash and ribbon cable replacement

I haven't purchased direct from them yet either but I do know they have a parts and service center in Los Angeles, CA so I would think the shipping speed to any state in the US would be reasonable... not sure about international.

"no signal" after crash and ribbon cable replacement

3rd party cable was my issue... got swayed by the $9.99 price tag... fortunately for me, my original ribbon was undamaged and was able to be reused... Thanks for your insight hunch! It proves my own findings...

"no signal" after crash and ribbon cable replacement

I had the same issue last week. The new cable seemed to scramble the gimbal electronics. After hours of tinkering I put the original ribbon cable (the one that was on the bird when I crashed) back on the gimbal and all problems went away. Might be a bad batch of ribbon cables out there...

Awesome truck crash caught on drone camera

Hmmmm did I see barricades there to keep vehicles out of that area? I think what happened is called "Instant Karma"!

Which drone to use scouting for hunting.

Depends on the cost for the service plan. May be an option since crashing the camera drone can get expensive in a hurry...especially if you have to pay someone else to do the work. You might want to look seriously at the P3A. The price is fantastic right now and the radio will transmit...

I can't imagine going 3 miles with this thing!

Good job at fighting the anxiety! I'm fairly new at this so I can't answer the distance question. Just wanted to comment on the use of FPV and trusting the telemetry on your DJI GO app. It's kind of like flying on instruments in a real plane... One thing I do religiously before take-off is to...

    Large purple interference

I just had a similar issue - the image was even worse when I could see it and most of the time was "not connected". At that point I couldn't record anything. The culprit turned out to be the gimbal ribbon cable. Once replaced, all was good again. I tried re-seating the connections but that...

    Really Nice Gimbal Replacement Parts!

I had a bit of a mishap and broke the roll arm on my P3P. While searching for replacements I came across this supplier - DJI Phantom 3 Pro, Advanced Gimbal repair replacement arms and kits - who has both printed ABS-like plastics and CNC machined aluminum parts. Both types are finished in...

    Crashed drone camera broken

I just did a roll arm replacement and put a new ribbon cable in for good measure... camera separated from the gimbal because the roll arm broke but the original ribbon was still intact. After completing the repair I had intermittent video with lots of horizontal lines of noise and a lot of "No...
