i am excited about this..just saw the rollout on the inspire and i am stoked! i am thinking about investigating this to use in a few areas.

i was assuming the newest p-2 has a v-3 version..if so that is probably a good bet. i am going to check the dii site now and see if there is anything new as this is the roll out date.

that is my understanding,but they have been known to make changes that deal with defects without telling us. one example if the shielding for the g.p.s. that man of us have done here ourselves. apparently now that is on the new v+

that is my thinking as well. I have seen people put p-2 components inside of waterproof shells that work fine but i don't know how long the components last. I think also the unit should have some sort of venting to operate properly for stability. maybe just adding a shield over the vents that...

awesome info. thanks for checking this out and posting. i MAY be getting a vision + to replace my p-2 but am waiting on the Inspire details first. if i do get a new vision + i will be taking some things apart and will post my findings.

I am wondering if anyone has got the new version with the upgrades and can give us a review? my fear has been they make no change to the camera and i still will be hesitant to buy one. i might end up with the inspire..not long to wait for the unveiling now!

Walkera is not quite up to par quality wise. Take a look at the camera cost..it is around $100..nowhere near a go pro. I also hear the scout is a heavy pig in the air. lets face it, the Chinese don't respect their own citizens,not to mention other peoples citizens. It is all about the company...

i have friend with a p-1 with fpv set up on it but it has only about 8 minutes flight time..dont know much about the flame wheel series but was wondering if everything on the p-1 would mount on the flame wheel and if it made sense to do? thanks.
