If you grab the bottom back motor/silver part can you rotate it at all? If so you can tighten the set screw that's on the inside of the arm. I know after I had a crash I had to adjust the rotation and then tighten the set screw for it to be level again.
I'm in the same boat. I felt like GoPro Studio got me started but now I feel it's lacking. I'm now learning premiere pro as I'm invested in other adobe products. I was wondering if there is any reason to use GoPro Studio at all. As in does it do any sort of extra tweaks or changes that you can't...
I placed an order from DJI.com for an P2+H3-3D on 4/18 and received it 5/16 (crashed it on 5/18).
Good luck! I know I won't be ordering directly from them again.
Bummer, I can't help you with that. I was wondering where that servo's set screw would be. I would assume there is one. Was it pretty clear when you took the cover off that there wasn't any other options?
I just took these pictures. The roll servo has the 1.5mm driver in it for the picture. If you loosen that up you can rotate the silver part. That changes the orientation of the x axis. If you are off kilter or leaning to the left or right you can adjust based on that.
The other photo is for the...
I won't be home for another few hours but here is an image I found. I put an arrow showing the relative location. I will try and take a photo when I get home. I believe it was a 1.5mm hex driver I used as well.
I guess I'm one of those cocky a$$holes Kelso is referring too(if the shoe fits!). Although I think my experience crashing into a tree has taught me more in one instant than some comments would. I'm just glad I didn't hurt someone or cost me more money.
This was a great post as I'm expecting my...
Nicely done. I too have just started flying and enjoyed watching your videos. I feel like this is a stupid question but on the last video you have the fpv video embedded in the GoPro video. Is that something you added in post or is that something that actually got saved on the GoPro SD card?
I guess I posted too soon. Sure enough I just found a set screw on the top of the arm that tightens that silver part of the servo. It took the play out. It's tight and I'm good and level. I'm also not getting any weird humming/buzzing sound. I'm wondering if those set screws (whatever they are...
I've searched but I can't find anything. Has anyone done a Zenmuse H3-3D or 2D teardown? I dinged the roll servo (very bottom) and now the silver part rotates freely about 2mm. When I orient the silver part a certain way the gimbal functions as normal, but when I rotate it with resistance on the...
Thanks.
It was a hard lesson learned. The image in my brain is forever burned as it flew right into the tree. I can laugh about it today.
The funny part is the battery housing shattered. It's too bad I can't just order a new plastic housing to install it into as it still functions.
The motors...
