You do know that's a still photo and NOT a still from a 4k video right?
Wether you do or not I can clearly see the same posterisation on that PHOTO despite the effect being far less pronounced on PHOTOS and also less obvious the higher up you go (the effect is easiest to see in tree branches)...
Yes, and I always used to shoot in DLOG but it was extremely noticeable after the last update, looks like massive posterisation.
If I had footage that I needed for a job it would have been ruined or extremely difficult/time consuming to fix in post.
A lot of guys on InspirePilots are...
DLOG was gimped/changed in the last firmware update for the Phantom 4 and possibly a few updates ago for the Inspire X3 & X5 cameras.
For now despite most people using and recommending DLOG don't touch it.
DLOG was massively gimped in the last FW update. At this stage it's not known if this is intentional or not but it affects DJI's range of drones including the X3 & X5 cameras as well as the Phantom 4.
Despite a lot of people shooting and recommending people shoot in DLOG, don't touch it for now.
Flight time is easily 25 minutes and I'm pretty sure I could get 28 minutes when I recondition the battery and let it go to 5%.
Haven't tested the range, here in Australia it's illegal to fly beyond sight but it easily goes further than 1km and the only other flyer I know around here who goes...
That was my post on the Inspire forum and the settings were the same and both without any ND Filter and taken from a 4k video rather than photo.
I don't have a Phantom 3 Pro so I couldn't test. I set out to do a comparison video between the two but the difference is so minor that I didn't...
It just keeps going until it reaches it distance limit either through the App or out of range then come back. If it reaches the top the the Collision Avoidance would make it go over or around or hover depending on what you set.
I'm still trying to find a use for TapNFly other than just flying in...
That's the Evolve AT kit. Company on the Gold Coast makes them and yes they are awesome. It can go about 30 km/h so next time I might go the full run and see if it can keep up.
Yes, just hold the right stick in whatever direction you want to orbit. I'm amazed that all these people are testing out ActiveTrack and just using it to follow. I've upgraded from an Inspire to the Phantom 4 and ActiveTrack is just as awesome as Focus Mode on AutoPilot, select a tarred and then...
I don't have a Phantom 3 Professional but I've just done a comparison to my Inspire with X3 camera and I've got to say it's very close but the Phantom 4 is better. Noticeably less compression which could be that 3D Noise reduction thing.
Compared to the jump from Vision+ or GoPro to the Phantom...
Sorry yeah I didn't think hand catching would be a problem. I'm more talking about hand launching... did you do that?
My Phantom 3 would idle until I hit the throttle, seems my Phantom 4 goes hard before I even touch the sticks.
So, I've just done my maiden flight and I'm so used to hand launching on the Phantom 3 I instinctively did it with the Phantom 4 despite how "slippery" it is comparatively.
Unfortunately I chickened out twice as the motor on the corner I was holding was throttling way faster than the other...
Until these things are released and tested by better people than "tested" then the full limitations of the collision avoidance won't be known.
The Typhoon H supposedly works up to 12 mph but that won't be tested/confirmed for a few months
I've read an unconfirmed snippet that the Phantom 4 only...
