Hi, Yes I do. I have the same issue as you. I swtiched on USB debugging and it seems to work a bit better. I'm not using the original rom but a custom one that i found on xda. But it happens to with my K1 shield so I think the main reason is again with the DJi stuff....

Correct. I had the same issue and they can flash the firmware right into the bird :)

Yeah. I'm thinking about other brands. If you look, almost every update screws up your bird.....

Hi Mate, i tried another PC. Maybe i should try another? I dont have a Mac OSX around the corner of a Surface...Assistant 2 Crashes on 0% Transmitting. So it is just frozen.....

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that assistent crashes when it try to transmit the firmware to my drone. I guess my drone is firmware less.
