No, no crash, put it away after lovely flight with range of about 600m, took it out 3 days later and Rth at 20m.....Looks like a hardware failure but wanted to touch this knowledge base here first in case I was missing something.

Had it since September 2015 so still covered by DJI warranty but don't think any dealer warranty.

I get this on my iPad but not my nexus 5, I just put it down to some compression artefact, doesn't effect video recording, just live streamed view and only ever in bright areas.

I now have around 25 hours flying time on my standard and love it. The only thing I don't like is on the iPad there seems to be a lot more noticeable compression in the live feed, whereas my nexus 5 streams perfectly.This tends to show in lighter areas of image and manifests as black lines...

The maximum I manage in a rural setting is 500m then RTH, and video signal breaks up way before that.
