Flying over the new Braves Stadium being built in Atlanta

DJI doesn't show that it is, so I finally got a chance to fly over it last weekend. Flying over Downtown Atlanta, new Falcons stadium, Westin

Flying over Downtown Atlanta, new Falcons stadium, Westin

I started out flying over the new Falcons stadium, but as soon as I got over it, my GPS signal dropped to almost nothing. Not sure if it was because of all the metal or what, but the drone was drifting too much so I didn't want to get too close. Next I wanted to fly by some of the taller...

Flying over the new Braves Stadium being built in Atlanta

I know a couple of ATC comm techs that work on that base and through them talked to a controller who didn't care. I was staying low anyway. According to the new rule, you can fly 400 ft above a structure. But to be careful I checked and the controller said they weren't expecting any traffic at...

DJI Phantom 3 Hardshell backpack - $75 - brand new, never opened

I have a brand new, authentic DJI hardshell backpack that I'll sell for $75. This came from a retail store, so it's not some ripoff from overseas. I have the same one of these already, so I can send pictures of mine if you want so you'll see what you're going to get. It's this one: Buy Phantom...

    Litchi v3.4.0 update details

Just got an email about Litchi's May 2016 updates, and it says this: - improvements to automatic gimbal control in waypoint mode What does that mean?? Does it mean it will control the gimbal even if it's out of range from the controller? I know that's been a big point of confusion, so it...

Awesome, thanks! I'll give that a try.

P3P video playback on PC looks corrupt until compressed

Mind me asking what you use to convert them to H264 4K? I'm assuming that's better quality than the 1080p option I'm getting with Windows movie maker, right?

P3P video playback on PC looks corrupt until compressed

I just upgraded from a P3A to a P3P. When I went to watch my first video on my computer, Windows media player made it look horrible. It started out in slow motion, then sped up to fast motion, but the video was still jumping around and looked corrupt. I then switched over to VLC but it wasn't...

The best way to do this in Waypoints.

Zoom out, use the pencil tool to roughly get your entire route plotted, then zoom in and make it more precise. Using the pencil tool, you can drag your finger along the route you want to fly and when you're done, it will place waypoints along the way, spaced appropriately. That's always an easy...

I've been wanting to get down there and film that too, but if you get there first, make sure you post your video so we can see!

Litchi waypoints gimbal won't focus on the POI

Yep, I'm typically always out of range during a mission. So it sounds like setting actions at each waypoint is the only way to go. Do you guys agree with that?

Litchi waypoints gimbal won't focus on the POI

Manually setting the camera angle at each waypoint didn't work for me (when set to interpolate). I have to set an action at each waypoint that tilts the gimbal to a certain degree if I want it to work reliably when it's out of range. Is this how you do it too, or is there an easier way?
