Is there a way to trigger photos every 1 sec, 2 seconds? All I see on the DJI go app is 5 seconds, and that is a little slow for what I need. Any other apps that will do this for me?

Yes. The software has nothing to do with drones. You can take the images however you want. Drones have just allowed better perspective images and you can do it faster. I will say, this is not a beginner software or area to get into. Be prepared to do some work!

I feel like every time you calibrate you have a chance of a mis-calibration. I'd rather just watch how it flies and re-calibrate if there is an issue. It has served me well so far.

It stiches all the photos together and creates a 3D model. You can do renderings and animations within - but they are very basic.
