If I want pictures, I use the mode that records video, and pictures at the same time. I set it to take a picture every 5 or 10 seconds, and then pick the best pictures to keep, and trash the rest.

I think out the back and bent down has had mixed results. I think the gimbal tends to interfere when returning home. I try to get the antenna as low as possible, and I have it offset to one side. I have had solid video out to 2000 meters, and had to turn back because Im a weenie...

I just put a Tagg GPS tracker on my Phantom 2, and fully loaded its coming in at 1322 grams. Should I try to trim the fat some before flying, or should this be ok, other than reducing my flight time slightly?

can the limit feature be disabled, or extended to say 3000m? I might do the update, but I want to be sure it wont permanantly limit my range in any way.
