I think it also depends on what bird you are flying. I don't think a small Mavic can handle winds as well as a P3 or Inspire. I stay with about 15 Mph rule.
Darin,
I used the same sights to study for the test. I saw no need to pay for an online course. I ended up with an 85% and was very happy to pass the test. Tons of questions that I had never scene before....or even thought about. I hate taking test.....but guess I will be back in 24...
I just passed my test on Friday and was able to score an 85% from watching quite a few free Youtube videos. I notice a lot of people had 63 questions...I only had 60. Now I'm waiting on IACRA to post my test.
If the antenna are pointing straight up.....and the bird is right above you it will loose signal. It may help to tilt the antenna down when flying right above you. You could also have some near by wifi signal interference. Try another location.
It all depends on the wind conditions and also how you fly the bird. If its really cold or hot outside...how fast you fly (Full speed non-stop) or if you sit and hover for 20 to 25 minutes I feel is average.
Which is better a still photo or a screen capture from 4k. My still photos don't appear to be as sharp as screen captures. Does that make any sense....or is it just me?
Great post. Sounds very reasonable. I know a lot of effort and trial and error goes into writing an App like Vertical. Tons of bugs to work out. Thanks Neil.
To me it seems like instead of having sonar cameras in front they would be on the rear and sides of the bird. When you are looking at your tablet you are seeing where the P4 is heading to. It's when you fly backwards or sideways and the main drone camera is facing your subject you end up flying...
