your best bet would be to call your local best buy & apple stores and see if they have them in stock.. there is a good chance they get a shipment and have some in stock on official release date.

ok, tell me where to look, if its not a secret of course.. DJI site & amazon are selling for $999/$1299. if i see a better, legit deal i would buy today. if not i would probably hold on to my $$ till the release date, just in case if i find something better i have the funds ready..

is it possible your new version of DJI go app showing distance in meters instead of feet? i think mine got changed to meters with the recent update... try going to settings screen and changing from metric to imperial system..
