You don't need any special app to shoot the photos. You can manually take the photos with some overlap and stitch them with ICE. You can also use ICE to create 360 panoramas from video.
I have experimented a lot with 3d video. I have an older GoPro setup for 3d which has a cable to connect and synchronize two cameras. It has a case which mounts one of the cameras upside down. It works really well for close objects but with distant subjects such as you would have with the drone...
Are you losing connection with the remote and having no control of the drone or are you losing video or having the phone/tablet shutting off. If you are consistently having a disconnect with the remote control at this distance, you need to get it fixed or replaced. If it is just the mobile...
Thanks, I found those but they are obviously converted from DNG.
Here is an example of Mavic DNG vs JPG. Way too much noise reduction in the JPG images and no way to fix them. I am hoping the Air is better.
I have the Mavic Pro. The Jpeg images are compete crap. DNG files can be processed to get a decent image. I have not seen any Jpg images from the Air, only ones processed from DNG. If you have some jpg samples from the Air, please share.
Have you seen any still images from the Air? I am afraid they are worse than the Mavic Pro as no one is showing them. The lens is a step down, fixed focus and f/2.8.
Did you change the camera and model in the image properties? This tutorial was for the Typhoon H but the method will work for any group of photos. At about 4:45 min mark, you will see how to change the properties.
When a quad loses one rotor, the opposite one cannot be used for lift without flipping the whole thing over, so you have a bicopter with half the lift available. Engaging the third rotor generates a yaw imbalance making the aircraft rotate. At best you are going to have a controlled crash of a...
As others have said, there is no commercially available quad that will safely land after a motor or prop loss. I do have a Typhoon H hexcopter that will fly and safely land after loss of one rotor.
I would suggest that you fly what you have until you regain confidence. When you decide that you are ready for a newer model, choose one that has been out a while or wait for a few firmware releases to correct the early bugs that always happen with DJI products. In this hobby, don't spend what...
Nicely done.Love the shadows.
Yes my attempt was early in the morning. I had launched from way up stream on the other side of the river where we had camped. I was at the limit of my ability to see the aircraft (Typhoon H.) I had also reached my prreset altitude limit. I was concerned about...
