Can someone tell me, is there any difference in the various versions of the Phantom 2 in the aircraft it's self or just in what features/accessories you get with the Phantom 2? Are all the aircraft's the same? What is the control frequency of the Phantom 2 2.4Ghz or 5.8Ghz? Thanks

The assumption was comparing the OSD mAH consumed with the capacity rating of the battery. You gave me a lot of good information but it wasn't much help in answering my questions :D .

I need a little battery class. I'm not sure what some of the terms are and what the norms are for the batt. First I think I need to get a charger that tells me how much juice I'm putting back into the battery. What are some good chargers that will do this and are there any that will charge...

That is a good idea, would be a little lighter than screws but small screws wouldn't be but a few grams as well. We have some real thin washers at work that I don't think would weigh but a 1/4 gram.

Glad to hear, I'm getting better but I sure am not crash proof yet. On the popping out of the rubber shocks, I almost lost my GP3 because of those things. Maybe the 2nd flt. with them I crashed and picked up the craft, walked off ready to fly again ...not noticing the GP was gone, I freaked...

what external power port? I don't have anything like that on my Phantom are we talking about the dji Phantom quad or maybe the balance plug on the battery?

Ended up zip tying it to the strut, it will do for now, have a cable ordered for the gopro and will use that as the permanent solution till I get a gimbal, then it's back to this camera I guess. Really poor design when you consider it's use but I don't know if FS designed this camera or just...
