it should range from straight forward to straight down. if not, there is something wrong with your gimbal, or maybe something is blocking the rotation physically. try it on a table and see if anything is hitting it.

I just upgraded my H3-3D IMU to 1.0.0.6. The notes said it fixes this issue. We'll see tomorrow :)

I just got my P2 with H3-3D and GoPro 3 Black. I'm in Fremont and work in Pleasanton. I tend to fly at any park that doesn't have security personnel :P

Default is 30% and 15%. I just set mine to the lowest allowed, 20% and 12%. What do you guys use and did I set mine too low? Haha.

indeed. no way i'm paying for anything. i'd use at least 2 bands, probably double looped, just in case 1 snaps during flight for some reason.

After reading about fly-away issues and some drones supposedly falling out of the sky randomly, I'm worried about my investment. Do any of you guys have insurance on your Phantoms? If so, through who? I have renter's insurance, and I BELIEVE it would be covered, but I'm not sure.
