I ordered my P3 and extra from DJI. Got the P3 a few weeks ago. Got the second battery yesterday. I wasn't terribly high up in the P3 order queue, so I am guessing they are really starting to get most of the second batteries out now. No idea about people who separately ordered a battery.

Thanks msinger! I had already adjusted my stick length. That helped a bit. I went ahead and ordered the stick knobs. I am still curious about exactly what effect the two gain settings have (gain, and gain and expo) and whether there are downsides to changing them.

I have read through all the things I can find about changing gain to effect the yaw settings, but I am still confused and am concerned about effecting flight. All I want to do is make the rudder control (yaw) less sensitive. I find that when I want a smooth, slow pan, it is almost impossible...

You have it all correct. The firmware is version 1.1.9. Their naming convention for the .bin file makes it a little hard to know you have the right thing. You do though.

I don't think it is any special cable, just one of decent quality. There are a lot of really crappy, cheap USB cables on the market and I have had to toss a few in the trash.

Thanks. I am shopping for a backpack, but it looks like there are some issues with the P3 being a bit taller than the P2. Hoping to find something that is a soft pack, but protects well. Seems like new alternatives will be coming out quickly. For now, I guess I will drag a little mat with me...

Just a sample size of 1, I tried a USB cable I had laying around. I got no connection. When I switched to the one that came with my P3, the Nexus started working perfectly.

Steve's useless tip for the day: If you grab the Professional .bin file for your P3 Advanced, it ignores it completely. No text file. No update try. Took me a while to realize my mistake. With the right file, the download was fast and easy.
