I did not know this. Twice now I've tipped over while trying to shut down doing CSC but now I will do it this way.

That's my backup plan.

I know how to turn off two of the lights on the P3S but I need it to be completely stealthy and have no lights on whatsoever for law enforcement operations. Does anybody know if that is possible?

I had the exact same problem and I read the thread mentioned here and I was able to downgrade my firmware today and now it's back to normal again.

It's actually true. If you reverse the polarity on them it will work. I saw it on an episode of Stargate SG1.
