    thanks....tried everything...no luck.....will now purchase a device to dedicate to the Phantom. From what I read an Apple Ipad Mini 2 WiFi is as good as anything.

    Just attempted to use my new RCA 10 Viking Pro (Android 5.0 Lollipop). When I tried to download the DJI app., discovered this device is not compatible. Any ideas as to why? Too bad....this device is the perfect physical size.

    Isn't the NO LIVE STREAMING statement a deal breaker? If so, it appears a data plan is indeed required?!? Also....can someone explain what is meant by tethering to internet?

    I do not currently own any of these devices. Am I understanding this correctly.....if I purchase a cellular model, I do NOT have to subscribe to cellular service in order to have 100% operational capability of a new Phantom 3 Professional (and camera) with the DJI APP? I am new to Drones and...
