Yea of course, props always suck... Whilst editing I was running low on footage and had no choice but to use that clip w the props visible.

I did little research before i bought mine.. just knew i wanted more range. I tried in the middle of open farm field up here in Canada. Still some trees around and not as flat as Indiana LOL. I tested with both controls in farm field and in a busier area and the results seemed consistent...

I broke mine and installed the ARGtek mod. It was so bad i ended up buying a whole new controller while i messged around trying to get the ARGtek modded one to get the "extended" range. ARGtek controller barely gets 300m while my controller with the standard antenna gets 1100m+ easily. Still...

I had the same issue... Had to buy a new controller

Still plan on repairing this one with the mod! Just gunna keep the new controller with the stock antenna! This way i'm guaranteed one that works and im not stuck on the ground even longer when I fail the solder job!

Thanks for tips, ended up finding a cheap used remote... Saved me the trouble (not great with solder)

Thanks for the help all. I like this idea of snipping the wire and then pulling off connector with needle nose. I'll definitely give that a shot. I bought a new controller, just waiting for the FedEx Fairy to deliver now :sleeping:

Only problem with soldering is the connector is so small that it would be a difficult solder.... Looks like a new controller is my only option. Oh well

Hey all, Hoping someone here can help me out. I was installing my Argtek range extender and I ran into a hiccup..... [/IMG] You can see where the connector should be there isn't a connector cuz i snapped it off by accident trying to remove the old wires. [emoji35]
