You are so lucky. That is a very cheap fix. My camera has cost me a couple of times that were a lot more expensive than that. Ebay should have the part for less than $10.
If it is a P3P I'm sure that you did. I exceed 50 with mine on a regular basis. I have hit over 60 and still got over 40 on the return trip. DJI says top speed is 35 in case you get a lemon. Also get better speed in ATTI mode.
Was there a cell phone tower nearby? It kept saying something about a magnetic force. Maybe it got confused by your accent and wasn't sure what country it was in. (just kidding). I think that I would raise hell with DJI on that one.
If you don't have "return to home" toggled to on if you lose signal it will land where it is at. The elevation could cause a problem too if is hilly and you started out at a low elevation and there is a hill. Could have been at too low an altitude when returning home. I made a mistake once...
I like that idea. They won't mess with anyone with a burka. Won't know if you are a tall woman or a guy either. It would be profiling for sure. You could hide your controller under the outfit. LOL
I just watched a video of a guy go 12,600 feet high in Turkey where apparently it is legal with a Phantom 4. Awesome video. That is 2.6 miles high. Impressive. I hope he made it down without running out of battery.
I've had really nice flights and when I got home on the best one realized that the SD card was not inserted all the way. Really sucked. My longest flight. Nearly 2 miles through the woods.
I replaced the whole bird except the battery and the camera. I immediately took the battery out and drenched the bird with fresh bottled water. The camera works except for the pitch going limp and not going up and down. I have a new motor ordered for that. I have spent a lot of money on it...
Anyone who is the least bit venturous will eventually crash. Nothing to be ashamed of. Things happen even when you have been flying for awhile. The cost of owning a drone. I made a mistake recently and somehow my return to home slider was turned off. I ended up in the Gulf of Mexico. Now I...
My camera was involved in a salt water crash. I bought a new drone body but my problem is that my camera won't pan up or down. Stays limp in the down position. Wuzzup as they say?
I had mine come down thirty feet from home point on a tree. When I realized it I was about to pull it up but I was too late. Crashed in a tree and cost me a camera. Most of the time it is within a few feet though.
