Hi all I was wondering if someone with a bit of savvy about them could kindly please provide the provide which segments on the 3.5mm jack correlate to what colors of wire that plug into the mainboard. As i have broken the jack on mine an plan on soldering on a new one onto it. thanks.

Hey i did the same thing, flew it into a tree and snapped the jack off. Ended up using a continuity tester to find which color cable matched which segment on the plug and then soldered on a new plug worked fine.

Yes i forgot. It would be absolutely possible. Although the antenna inside the gopro would have very dismal range. Aslo you wouldn't be able to tilt the gimble or receive telemetry. It would be easier to just mount the gopro to the bottom of the vision camera or something along those lines.

All the wifi is inside the camera and the telemetry is sent to the camera via the cable in the back. Good idea but not a diy project.

You guys need to remember the repeater link is a wifi connection ie both devices transmit and recieve. so even if you had the most powerful repeater in the world it wouldn't improve distance because its limited by the visions tx power. So when you fly it far away the repeater has no problem...

Hi Ben i got this antenna already, put it on the tx today, quite a big improvement took it up to 1100m (3600 ft) probably could have gone further too. Think the max i got with the stock antenna was about 760m and you would be loosing the control signal quite a bit. So definitely a good investment.

kingcat this is a good idea, i had a look at mine and you have about 1.5mm to play with before the connector butts right up against the battery which should be plenty to eradicate the problem. It just means tearing out all the internals of the P2V to access the connector.
