Once in a while you'll see blue, orange or red shapes (like circles, rectangles etc). So far that's the most useful and live info I've got of all the choices. Airmap is good too. Thanks for sharing.

Another interesting website you can look at is skyvector.com. I've been following that website and it's been quite helpful with live updates for example, 4th of July restrictions. @B25J look for NOTAMs or TFRs under Regulations & Policies. That 'Red Donut' is invalid. I live right in the border...

I don't understand why you have encountered an issue with this flight. I have flown from concrete picnic tables multiple times. Never had issues. May be you never know until you have a problem, I guess. The thing is you didn't loose the video transmission. Confused why you had an issue?@&$@??

Do you guys have a timeline on when you're planning to go? Sunday (6/25) morning weather seems to be fine. But my past experiences of visiting that place is very unpredictable. Someone who lives close by could have a better suggestion
