Use the Lichti app or the DJI Ultimate FLight app and you shouldn't have any problems....

I agree, what pissed me off is that I paid 1300.00 bucks just for the Phantom 2 V+ with an xtra battery, but then DJI came out a month later with the Phantom 3, I would have just waited had I known... Honestly, If anything I'm going to purchase a solo, I'm so done with DJI, plus their customer...

You have the worst luck with the Phantom it sounds. So technically you lost two quads, but retrieved one of them. Never heard of that before......You sure you're calibrated it correctly?

Or just save yourself some juice to get ALL the way home.

I don't think it's ridiculous at all, as long as it's working properly that's all that matters... I think it looks kinda cool....

Re calibrate it in the assistant software, I had the same exact problem, I re calibrated and it's back to working smoothly !

No kidding, I have the Vision+ v 3.0, my wires are connected by solder only, nothing securing the wires. It's a good idea, because now I'm gonna secure my motor leads as well, but man DJI 's QC department need a refresher course or something....

Really, that glue job is from the Factory? What a sloppy job they did, if anything they should have added a dab to each of the contacts to the ESC. I think that adds xtra weight, ( may not be much ) but IMO that is terrible. This is the Vision + ? I have the Vision+ and I have no glue blobbed on...

Thanks for the reply msinger, I tried the manual mode with just the controller without being in the DJI assisant, however I'm going to try it right now and I will let you know how I make out... I appreciate the help and quick reply. Be back in a few....Thanks again!
