I got through on the phone once after holding for 29 minutes...the tech told me that they were limited to 10 minute calls by their supervisor. FWIW, the tech was in the United States, a native English speaker and very friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

I think you will be forced to use an after market item. You can check Amazon for the propguards for oversize propellers. Good luck!

I have flown in excess of 100 flights since the initial compass calibration and I have not connected to the assistant ...and I don't intend too unless something goes wrong. My V 1.1.1 flies like a dream and I don't see why I would want to take a chance on upsetting that....just my 2 cents.

All the original DJI prop guards come with the eyelets and a spool of string...if yours doesn't have those things, they are after market items.

I have version 1.1.1 and I calibrated the compass before my first flight....since then, I've had 75-80 flights and never did it again and it still works like a charm. According to a service tech at DJI, you only need to re-calibrate when you change locations a great distance....his words were "...

Definitely worth using if you have the guards........without the string, the guards can actually work against you if you get in tree branches.

200 grams extra weight is just not a workable solution IMHO.
