I have 2.4 on my iPhone so would it be possible to back it up to my iMac and then transfer that to my iPad 4 mini? Just got an iPhone and iPad so I'm not an expert.

Purchased my P3 Pro in November and was just reading about firmware versions. Checked mine and it says I have 2.5.0. I've never updated the App Firmware so I was wondering if it somehow does it automatically? Looking at the App release history there's no way I could have 2.5.0 as it was released...

Are you using 1.6?

That makes sense in terms of how you do it. Now I have to determine if it's a good idea. Several people have advised me do downgrade back to 1.3.20 because of the battery issues with 1.5.30 and (apparently) there are less limitations. I guess it the whole geo-fencing thing. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. What happens the next time I go out to fly? Do I have to erase the previously cached maps or can I add a new area? How long do the cached maps remain on my iPad?

Did a lot of searching and can't find a good thread or tutorial on how to cache the maps using an iPad 4 mini (or similar) along with a P3 Pro. Any tips? I watched a couple of videos using android. I like the feature of being able to draw on the maps. Is that another good way to navigate? I've...

Is there any documentation or tutorials that shows how to downgrade the firmware? I don't have a clue.

Thanks for your reply. Question: Since I just did an update from 1.3.20+ to 1.5.30 would that have updated the firmware on the battery that was in the P3 during the update? If so, should I do two more identical firmware updates with my other two batteries installed?

Not sure I understand your response. My new gimbal (aircraft) was 1.3.20+ when I attached it to the quad (I did a screen shot to be sure). I did one firmware update to 1.5.30 and it said success.
