If you stop and look at this is very clear to me that the pilot saw a UFO. (not the first time a pilot saw one) Weather is was form outer space or not he could not tell if it was a drone or plastic bag? Give me a break.
I saw on Fox news today that a retired FAA official is suggesting that ALL UAV be banded until they can figure out a way to make them safe. I will say it again, we need to get out ahead of this before it is too late. I don't like the direction this is going. Wake up people.
Does England not have a NFZ? I know we do and I can't even start my P3 within that 5 miles of a Air Port. So how much more do they think will help? Drones like guns in the hands of people who are irresponsible are dangerous. Fortunately we have the 2nd ament to protect our gun rights. I...

I guess I am lucky to live out in the country then. Like you I got out over 8000 feet and turned around because I was fighting a head wind and got nervous I would run out of battery. Just saying.
I have a stupid question. Right now I can fly my P3A out so far I can't see it. I run out so far I worry about having enough battery to get back. What is the advantage of flying 3 times that distance? Just saying.
My P3A is in the shop for repairs so I broke out the P3S to fly on such a nice day. I now know why I love the P3A so much. When I first start out I had a good strong single and no problems. Climbed up to 394 feet and headed out to see how far I could get. Wow, it got out over 4000 feet...
