The video feed signal strength jumps from full scale to zero. Looks like the frequency is hopping around

Problem with video feed when linking new/used phantom 4 pro to "plus" controller

Thanks for the info Oso. So the used drone I bought is a V1.0 with a controller GL300F so the used drone I bought should work with my plus controller (GL300E) which is also a V1.0. Any ideas why the video feed is bad? I go thru the controller linking process by selecting the link RC option...

Problem with video feed when linking new/used phantom 4 pro to "plus" controller

    Aperture Phantom 4 Pro Megathread

I have done some experiments with different apertures. I would recommend that you stay below F8. By the time you get to F11 the image is very muddy.

Jiggery video feed and limited controller distance

I tested my unit out with the WiFi set to 2.4 GHz instead of the 5.8 GHz and I had smoother video and better range. Did not get way out but had solid video feed to about 6000' and pretty solid video out to 6800'. Turned around at that point. I flew from home so I turned off my home WiFi...

P4P+, anyone have good smooth video feed

Does anyone owning a P4P+ with a good smooth video feed and good range. Just trying to determine if the P4P+ has a design flaw or I have a lemon. Choppy video feed at very close distance and terrible range (<3000 feet). Thanks

    Range question

I am having the exact same issues with my P4P+ and I made the change to 2.4 GHz last night. It was after dark so I did not get a chance to test it out after I made the change. I will post my results later today. Thinking about returning the unit and getting a replacement. What kind of range...

Jiggery video feed and limited controller distance

Mine is the P3P+ so it has the display built into the controller. One would think that the DJI app would run well on their own display.

Jiggery video feed and limited controller distance

I just picked up a P4P+ and I am having issue with the video feed and the controller range. Let me start out by saying I have owned a P1, P2 and a P3P so I am familiar with the type of performance these other units get. My video feed starts jumping/freezing when the unit is still very close...

    Phantom 3 Professional Firmware v1.6.0040

I will say this one more time. Just prior to updating my firmware I had performed 5 flights of 15+ minutes each. and the aircraft was rock solid. I did not crash or landed hard on any of them. Updated firmware and now it flies like junk. Not a minor change but significant change in speed...

    Phantom 3 Professional Firmware v1.6.0040

I don't know why this is only affecting some people but I am must definitely not blowing it out of proportion. The problems are real and they are very significant. Just because it did not happen to you does not mean the problems don't exists or that they are minor. I have seen some post...

    Phantom 3 Professional Firmware v1.6.0040

Well you can add me to the list of people having issues with firmware 1.6. I have a P3P that I decided to upgrade even after reading through all the pages of this topic (major mistake). I don't know what version I had before the upgrade. Probably 1.3 or 1.4. My unit was rock stabile and flew...

Controls are 90 degrees out of sync

I had to replace the housing on my Phantom 1 after a hard crash. I also had to remove the NAZA unit and hit it on a table to fix a stuck accelerometer (error 25). The copter is working again but the controls are 90 degrees out from what they should be. Any ideas as to what I did to cause...
