I did end up getting it apart and then I also ended up taking those 2 metal threads out since I was not able to push them in to place. I might eventually tear out the plastic that is usually around that metal piece and then epoxy the bottom of it in.
Yeah I probably wouldn't mind running without a screw but I will probably still need to get the top off to make it able to shut. Unfortunately, this is where I am now stuck. Getting the top off is a pain in the butt. If I do buy another shell I would most likely just put the new top on instead...
Oh whoops, I guess i was reading that wrong. Disregard that. I am still having trouble fitting the shell together around the motors. I just made a post with some pictures. Any ideas? Trouble putting shell back on around motors.

I tired unscrewing them and screwing them back in. It worked on one but still couldn't position the shell quite right for the others at the time. I'm sure with some more tinkering I can get it. I'll go shopping around tomorrow at maybe a hardware store or an auto shop for that driver. Is it a T6...
TLDR, I was rushed and didn't take my surroundings in to account as much as I should have and didn't use a way point or home lock function that probably would have prevented the crash. I hit the side of a friends house and landed in some rocks.
I broke 3 props which I am not worried about since...
