Looking for help for disabled brother

Hi - that sounds like a fantastic idea. Not sure, but doesn’t the P4 have an HDMI output on the back? If so all you would need is cable and goggles. If not the search for a P4 RC HDMI module, check YouTube for how to install and your good to go. All the best.

P3A Lost Connection (twice) At Hover / 15 Feet AGL, Couldn't Reconnect

Sorry to forum bomb again - but I can’t get passed thinking it must be some environmental factor. You mention you were in the street - were there a lot of houses of other buildings near by? High voltage power lines, HIRTA, hell I don’t know, solar flare?

P3A Lost Connection (twice) At Hover / 15 Feet AGL, Couldn't Reconnect

Sorry, I have nothing. But it’s weird that you had to wait for the battery to run down before the drone landed. It should implement and RTH in the case of a lost signal from the RC. Sounds like it did - but based on battery power not signal. Be interesting to hear what others have to say. I’ve...

Is this safe to fly ?

Pic A - is it safe to fly? Hell I don’t think that’s safe period. Dispose safely immediately and replace.

    What to get !

Without commenting on your desire for more range with a smaller drone I would say it has to be the Mavic Pro. Otherwise you’ll end up with a Mavic Air and a wish that you’d bough the Mavic Pro.

Out and about on this gorgeous afternoon

Nice little video. Just a suggestion: You are obviously making sure you can see your drone (good man) but when filming it doesn’t necessarily need to see you. Also when your editing try just having one movement in any one clip. Keep up the good work.

    Risk assessment template

Hi James. As a hobbyist you don’t have to worry too much about it. Just stick to the drone code and follow what solentlife said. However identifying the risks he mentioned are only half the deal, you also have to know how you are going to mitigate them to reduce risk or likelihood or both. E.g...

    Need a new tablet

Currently using a second hand iPad mini 16GB solely for the purpose of flying. Works fine with DJI Go and Drone Deploy - I haven't tried Lichi yet.

Do you dare to use left throttle stick 100% to descent faster?

Definitely not true - I quite often descend at 100% down

    Drone winches

This is a really interesting problem - and I'm not sure that all the solution components are there - yet. Looking at your specs one by one: Parcel load 5 - 6 kg. As stated elsewhere there are certainly drones out there that can carry this sort of load. AS an example a Matrice 600 can carry a 6...
