    Crash with damage--Help

Sorry to hear about your crash. From those pictures, that shell is never going to snap back together properly. This has happened to me and I replaced the entire shell and just transferred everything to the new shell. I was not that difficult just took a couple of hours. Replacing flat cable...

Simple GPS tracker (USA) for under $100?

Yes, you are being unreasonable. :) We live in a great time and things are more connected than they've ever been. And there will be a day GPS/Cellular devices will drop drastically, but we are not there yet. Example; I was amazed a few years ago when McDonald's had kid's digital watches in...

    Can't focus raw pictures?

Thank you, as I was reading the thread I was hoping someone would jump in and add that you cannot adjust "focus" in post-processing. Just a mix-up in the terminology.

    DJI authentic battery Vs Clone?

There's no decision here. Why would you gamble. Buy original DJI batteries. There's enough with this hobby to concern yourself with, why add the unknown of a battery that you have no idea if it meets specs of not. The DJI batteries internally handle cell balancing, smart charging and...

Lanyard with Small UAV Registration Mockup

No fake ID, that's ridiculous. By displaying fake credentials, you're transforming yourself from a law abiding hobbyist to a person breaking the law. Have your registration numbers on the Phantom and carry the paperwork in your flight-box. Follow the rules, don't fly where you're not supposed...

Houston - do we have a problem

If you decide to glue it, and if that involves unscrewing the motor mount screws. Be ultra careful as I suspect you may make the crack worse by over tightening by just the smallest amount, it happened to me . . . . my all new new shell looks great :)

Propellers Guards its recomended to my ph3 professional?

I have tried them and I took them off after a couple of flights. They catch a lot of wind and make the unit fight much harder to stay stable. Although I don't have any metrics, it has got to reduce the flight time as the motors are running much more to fight against the wind resistance. The...

Battery smoking in flight catching fire

That's the NEW sky-writing feature included with the latest firmware !!! You're the first person to try it and evidently it works perfectly. Next time it starts smoking, write your name in the sky and post it.

Play music on a speaker payload-anyone ever do it?

You could use: Small MP3 player --> Like this 1 or 2 small speakers --> Like this I would keep the little speakers away from the compass.

What is a good way to take nice pictures at the sunset or at night camera setting wise?

There's no such thing ! There are no "specific custom settings" Photography is a subjective art. Start off using "auto" and see what you get, then make adjustments based on what looks good to you. You can "bracket" your photos to try 3 different settings in one spurt. Try shooting in RAW so...

    Camera settings

All of them !! There are no "correct" camera settings. It all depends on what YOU think looks good. If you just want a well exposed picture, set to automatic. But I would encourage you to experiment with ISO, shutter speed, etc and put your own flair to your photos, Have fun !!

HELP!!! Phantom 3 pro, connecting to computer using a USB

Actually I never tried to get the videos and pictures by connecting to the USB on the gimbal, I've always taken the card out and put it in a USB adapter. I just tried it and it worked without issue.
