The zenmuse has the socket at the top this pops out and the plate can be pushed backwards to remove 2 screws. It the same as when it pops a bung when you hit something ie a tree (yes I did it) it comes apart. Remember which way the socket goes back in.

Not done the upgrade yet will try in next few days but I tend to use the clock on the gopro for flying time.

I have the Loc8tor stuck on the top of the battery door, The beep isn't very loud but tracking on the credit card size led reader seem ok. Spoke with Loc8tor as it states 150M ground but further if it decides to land higher. £50 from Maplins

I mounted mine inside beside the battery but the temp reading is from the battery not outside.

Nip the case together to free them sounds like cas has took a knock. Daft as it sounds I have various Allen keys but didn't have a 2mm while out and about so pick a set up from one of the pound stores (uk)and it's the best fitting key I have.

So how many Gopro battery block have you got to keep filming. I got a 2nd from DX with a charger for 12v/240v, can't fault the 2nd block works as good as gopro, charge slow on 12v side.
