The drift is about four feet either side but almost like I was in ATTI mode. The problem fixed itself entirely when I switched to stock propellers though. I am just beyond curious as to why this could be? They say that they are DJI brand
I bought a set of carbon blend propellers from Amazon and they are causing a nasty drift all over the place on my craft. I tried it with stick props and the drift stopped. Anyone have this issue as well?
I was just on DJI's site to download the manual for the P3 standard and it shows a firmware update with the date of April 2017. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!
I'm new to my Phantom and wanted to know if I should be getting a "compass error, entering atti mode" message every time I move my drone? I'm afraid to fly it after moving it at all. Thanks!
It blew it sideways with the direction of the wind like it it was a paper plane and that's when the compass error popped up. Thanks for the link I'll upload when I figure it out.
I didn't try to fly it after I was kind of hesitant. I was flying fine and that's my concern because I don't see how I could have flipped the switch. The log shows everything going normal then suddenly "compass error, switching to atti mode" I'm going to try to do a compass recalibration here...
I experienced sudden unexplained compass error today when I was hit by a mild gust of wind. I was at a low altitude (10 ft) and the gust was at most 8 mph. The craft went crazy and into atti mode and I managed to land it safely. Any possible explanation for this or has anyone experienced this...
Ok I checked the flight log. It shows that a compass error occurred and the drone switched to atti mode. Could the switch have caused the compass error or was the atti mode caused by the compass failure? I was in my yard just fooling around with no possible interference sources at less than 15...
Son of a gun!!! I just went to check my remote and my switch was in the down position! Is there anyway to check at what point in the flight that could have happened? I did throw it into auto land when it started going haywire though.
Today I hit wind gusts of close to 10 miles per hour and my drone went crazy! This happened twice and I had to get it under control and autoland immediately. I am a newbie but this seems like very low winds to kick my drones butt or am I wrong? And I don't know if this is relevant but I did just...
Forgive me. I never meant I was ignorant to the fact that I have to be mindful of others. I just had a slip of the mind that this is a semi private beach in New England in the winter and didn't think of whether I might need a permit or something. I have contacted my LEO contact there and they...
