Here is some raw practice footage with the RotorPixel gimbal.

Sometimes it takes a minute or so for the balance kick in... that surprised me. Also, occasionally the camera balances a little to the left. But it seems like if I pan down and back up...
Figured it out. The camera cable wasn't actually pushed all the way into the gimbal. I guess I was being too gentle. All is well now. I'll be taking her out tomorrow for a flight test.
Okay, I got the Rotorpixel Gimbal and have installed it following the instructions and youtube video closely. Powered it up and gimbal appears to be working properly. One issue I am hoping someone here can help me with. When I connect the app and push to pan down or up nothing happens...
I can't help but say that there is a big difference between ordering an accessory and being held hostage at gunpoint. There is also a big difference between 119 days and 444 days. I am guessing that the hostages would gladly take 200 or so days over 444. I placed my order on March 18th and am...
You are probably already aware from reading even a little of the other RP thread... But I think it is important to mention that RP is way behind on actual shipping. I placed my order on March 18th and still have not received; though it was supposed to ship this week and hopefully will. I am...
Thanks! I didn't reduce the first decent... But I did reverse it. It was actually a pretty aggressive ascent. Just for fun I reversed it and really liked it better.
I mostly use the canon 1.8 50mm prime lens. I love the super shallow depth of field. Though it can be tough to not go in and...

This was a fun one to film. My son got this Razor Flash Rider bike. Of course my daughter had to show off some of her sweet tricks as well. I don't think you can tell but there were quite a few obstacles to watch out for... powerlines, trees...

Here is an edit I did with some P2V and Canon Rebel T3I Footage. Edited in Adobe Premiere CC and After Effects CC for stabilizing. I would love to get some feedback.
I am editing in Premiere Pro CC. And most stabilizing and effects in After Effects. I love Adobe Creative Cloud for this work. You have all the tools you need, even photoshop which can come in handy for fisheye removal. I have done some of my older videos in Final Cut Pro 7 and Motion... but...
I would love to see more examples of people mixing their aerial footage with other video. To kick it off here is a video I made with some family footage I filmed on my Canon T3I in 720p and aerial footage from my stock P2V in 1080i.

Finally bit the bullet. Thank you to everyone for posting video from the actual rig! Order number 859, I believe... it's gonna be while. In the meantime, go ahead and solve the yaw issue for all of us waiters.
So I have been lost trying to figure out why my P2V wouldn't fly right for the last two weeks(stupid after market props)... any way... what the heck has been going on with this gimbal??? Is there still not action footage? Pre-orders not shipping? Like many people I am ready to purchase a...
I was considering getting a prop balancer but I had no shake or jello issues prior to putting on the after market props. I will say that the DJI props come out of the box ready to fly, it's pretty impressive. I guess I got spoiled by a couple sets of those.
I probably will get a balancer and...
