I love how you specifically mention Colorado Springs and some fellow chimes in about Denver. Sigh. I dont fly a whole lot, but I know there is a group that meets I think at Palmer Park every Sunday at 10am or every other Sunday. Hope that helps!
I'm so sorry you had this experience. From what I have read online and in this forum, DJI is FAR below par as far as Customer Service is concerned. I wish I could do something to help you. I havent crashed my P4P yet...but I know that day is coming. It will be a while though, because when I...
Ok...so I just got in...I had to tap the line that is below the password field after waiting a couple minutes. It's like tapping just under the word "password" didnt work. Might be a design issue. I am leaving my nasty review up on the app store though. :)
I also have an iPhone 7 and the login screen just sits there...wont let me enter my password. I tried:
1 - Force quite the app
2 - Restarted the iPhone
Nothing works. I left a NASTY column of feedback on DJI's app review. This is seriously ridiculous. I will try to delete and reinstall the app...
I've never had an issue with iOS devices and flying. I actually got a call once while I was flying..I didnt answer of course...but...my story is true. :)
I have a 7. I have never quit the background app refresh or put it in airplane mode. Actually I think if you put it in airplane mode...then you won't be able to link to the drone...right? Or am I an idiot? lol
Myself as well...I tried unsuccessfully on my 27" iMac to calibrate and had an external monitor hooked up...no go. It worked on my MacBook pro though so I am thinking maybe having a 2nd monitor hooked up is the issue as far as Macs go. Just a thought.
Go to the DJI site ( DJI - The Future Of Possible ), click on "Drones" in the upper left hand menu bar....and choose your drone. Then about halfway down the page you will see "Downloads". Click that and look for the link for DJI Assistant.
Hey Don, so I tried it on my 2012 Macbook Pro without restoring to factory settings and it actually worked. Thank you so much for your advice sir...I am glad I didnt have to restore to factory settings on the P4P though...guess I was lucky. I have a feeling that would have been a nightmare.
Ok perfect. I left my laptop at work so I will try to calibrate this week with it and let you know. I don't know why a 27" iMac wouldnt work, lol. Thank you Don.
Thank you so much Don, you were the only one to reply. I got steps 1 and 2..but didn't restore my P4P to Factory...will that roll back the firmware as well?
Hey everyone. So out of nowhere I got a request from the DJI app 4 to calibrate the vision system using DJI Assistant 2. I have everything up to date on the Mac (10.12.4) and on the P4P, App and Controller. Assistant 2 sees the P4P, but when I go to calibrate it just gives me the...
