So just to update, I took off each of the antenna covers (kinda a PITA) and checked those connections all good. Even took off the gimbal to check the connections under there and everything looks good. So I think the only thing I could test next would be a full gimbal replacement which I could...
Ok I was wrong about 5.8 being any better. Seems something is seriously wrong with the my drone, here's a video showing the issue.
Guessing this needs professional repair?
Yep that all makes sense, but I'm telling ya I have another P4P in my posession for another day or two and one is great on 2.4 and the other is basically garbage (mine of course). Going to record a video tomorrow to give an idea, but I've pretty well narrowed it down to my drone, I just need to...
My dad got this included with an ebay sale after buying a dead remote to swap batteries with.
Can anybody identify what this is and if it's worth selling?
Thanks,
Sean
Hey there, I'm not sure I'm comfortable shipping international sorry, too many rules and regulations with batteries and not sure how I would protect myself as well from fraud. So going to limit to US shipping for now. Thanks for the interest and sorry!
Should have mentioned I did a firmware refresh last night, and I tried using a Pro+ controller (so no cellular data) and same results. So I was able to narrow it down with pretty good certainty to the drone, but just curious if there's any quick fixes at home I could look into for the 2.4...
Overall good condition, dad was using to fly his Phantom 4 but also works for Phantom 3's. He crashed his 4 and now has upgraded to a P4P (may god have mercy on that beautiful drone) so don't need this remote anymore.
Would like to see $120 shipped for it.
Let me know if any questions,
Sean
Sky is certainly on point, great shot btw. A slight clockwise rotation may help even it out a bit maybe?
I shoot pano's pretty frequelty, and just for the record you can use the auto mode but just set to jpg+raw for those images so you get the benefit. I've actually never used the app's...
I've always wondered if you're more likely to hit a bird by moving abruptly when they get close or if they're smart enough to dodge at the last second (assuming you don't dodge in the same direction lol).
Hey guys,
I've had my P4P since ordering new 5/18/2017 and have been rather lucky with no major issues aside from 2 of my batteries swelling last year after stationary time-lapse in the Florida heat (has anybody ever heard of this before?).
Anyway, fired up the drone to take some real estate...
